Decoy winter series

Decoys winter series was a great success despite the cold, wind and rain. Our riders raced well, moving up and down the formulas. Starting in formula 4, we had Bethan Hallett, Oliver Fay and Emma Coles, later they were joined by Dolton Ashton and Rebecca Hill, Dolton rode an excellent first race so moved straight up to formula 3. Bethan and Oliver moved up to formula 3 after the first race and stayed there.

Jason Fay, Sam Coles, Connor Hallett and Sam Hann all started in formula 3, and were later joined by Ben Blake, Luke Harris and Daniel Hill. Sam Coles has shown great improvement by steadily moving up the formulas, as did Jason Fay they both moved to formula 1, against 15+ riders and managed to stay there. Ben, Daniel and Connor all got to formula 2.  Sam Hann rode well in the final race taking 1st place in all the motos and final, he had to be content with staying in formula 3.

Dean Bird, Paula Hallett and Karl Syms started in formula 1. Dean maintained pole position from the first race, against some tuff opponents. Paula kept racing, despite moving down every race, she took all the teasing but kept going. Whilst in formula 3 Paula had to race against her Son & Daughter, they beat her! After moving to formula 4 Paula made the headlines by moving back up to formula 3 for the final race. Well done Paula.
